Subject Rebalancing Of Gateways To Switches At Remote Data Center - Friday, June 14, 2003.

After the close of the markets on Friday, June 14, 2003, CME will be rebalancing some Market Data Network (MDN) gateway servers to the network switches at our Remote Data Center (RDC), in order to provide greater redundancy and failover capabilities.  As a result, some Market Data Distributors may experience disconnects on their test, development, or back-up IDs at RDC. 

 

Production connectivity to our primary site at 30 South Wacker will not be affected.

 

Distributors are advised to check their test, development or back-up IDs on Sunday, June 16, 2003, prior to the opening of the GLOBEX® trading session to determine whether they have lost connectivity.  If so, the remedy is to simply logon again.
